It has sharper textures now, better HUD and UI.
It's just disappointing that this is no 'Remastered Edition' - besides Returning customers - beware! I love this game, but be warned, I have encountered all of the same bugs and glitches (and a few new ones)! Same framerate problems. The game seems harder which is a good thing! The only thing I found a bit disappointing was the fact that they actually seem to have cleaned out the graphics sabotage completely. No issues with frame rate either, I almost wish I had that excuse when loosing Marcus to the hordes of zombies. I've seen a few minor glitches, the occasional limb showing through a wall but no game stopper and nothing serious. You advance, build your base and try to find a way to survive and get out. I don't like taking risks, yet that is exactly the only way to get out of there. No issues This game annoys me because I don't like to loose survivors due to my own negligence, I need those people.
